Halloween was pretty low key for us this year. Joel had a virus and was at home in bed so it was just Emma and I. We made a few very important stops and then called it a night.
I thought it would be FUN to let Emma decorate a pumpkin for Halloween. What was I thinking!?!? I don't like messes. I covered the kitchen floor and table with trash bags. OCD Mama made it through and Emma LOVED it!!
This is one of my FAVORITE sweet treats! It's EASY, FAST and DELICIOUS! I made some to share with the teachers at Emma's school and a graduation party Friday night.
WHITE TRASH
8 oz Chex cereal
2 cups pretzels
2 c mixed nuts (optional)
1 pkg white almond bark
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Melt almond bark and drizzle over cereal mixture. Mix and lay out on wax peper to dry. Enjoy!!
Today we visited the Scarecrow Trails at the Arboretum in Jacksonville. This is a fundraiser put on by the area Master Gardeners to benefit H.O.P.E. A few of our friends walked the trail with us! Here are just a few of our favorite scarecrows.
For the last few years Joel and I have become fans of baseball. The Texas Rangers are playing in the World Series for the second year in a row!! Can you guess what we've been watching this week?
GO RANGERS GO!!
