giving/sharing

It is very important to me that Emma learn to give/share at a young age.  This month all of our extra change is going to March of Dimes Team Daven. Daven is a little boy in Emma's class at Mothers Day Out. He was born at 27 weeks.

I. Love. Pinterest.

Our mail box has needed a makeover for sometime now.  I found this cute idea on pinterest. A friend of mine has a small at home business called Laney Bugs. She makes vinyl decals and also does screen printing.

This was the final product.

What an easy makeover for about $10.00.
One can of black spray paint and the decal Kara created is all it took.

SHREK the Halls

The beginning of December we decided to get away and go visit Aunt Lauren in Dallas. While we were there we took Emma to The Gaylord Texan in Grapevine to see Shreck the Halls - ICE! It was AMAZING! A group of men from china come over and hand carve the entire exhibit. It is kept at 3 degrees .......BRRRRR!

Isn't Emma cute in her Parka!

The nativity seen was pretty in all clear ice.

Operation Christmas Child

It's never to early to learn about helping and sharing with those that are less fortunate. This year we got involved with Operation Christmas Child through our church. Operation Christmas child is a mission to help needy children around the world through the local church . Sharing the word of Jesus Christ. Emma and I went shopping for a little girl between the ages of 2-4. I let Emma pick out the items she wanted our new friend to have. We ended up with all of Emma's FAVORITE things and then I added a few thing I thought were necessary. Here are some of the things we pick out. Stickers, books, crayons and coloring books, teddy bear, jewelry, soap, toothbrush and tooth paste etc.

Emma and all of the things we picked out.

Packing all of the items in our box.

All done.
